SUPERSPREADER TILING KIT FOR DIY TILING

The SuperSpreader is perfect for the DIYer and can be used for floor and wall tiles. It can be expanded from 300mm (11.6 inch) to 760mm (17.7 inch) and is made of galvanised steel. The reason why I recommend the SuperSpreader for DIYers is because the teeth are V notches and not Square notches like the Professional model. The square notches require a back and forth motion to break down the notches whereas the V notches only require compression to break down the notches.

The included ski attachment for the Spreader allows the user to spread an even bed of adhesive on uneven subfloor. The video below provides a demonstration of the SuperSpreader. 

The SuperSpreader has teeth settings equivalent to a 10 mm or 1/2 inch square notched trowel.

The wings on each end retain the adhesive used so that there is no excess adhesive to clean up once the tile is laid. Because the SuperSpreader is standing at 90 degrees to the floor and the wings retain all the adhesive it is just a matter of simply dragging the spreader along to achieve a perfect bed of adhesive exactly the width that you have determined by expanding the SuperSpreader to the tile size.

This eliminates any skill that is normally associated with the spreading of a perfect bed of adhesive.
